a quick quack duck update betwixt our adventures

For all you lovely little lumps of lolligagging laggards - and ye ladies and gentlemen too!

The semester is over. We exploded our hot artgasm onto the Boston public with 1, 2, 3, 4, FIVE shows of supreme wonder and glory.

Lets recap.

Late Afternoon with DeWitt Patterson
A strange and hilarious adventure into the very filthy mind of late-night talk-show dream genius DeWitt Patterson. Live music, guests, cereal and fake semen! What a night.

Iron Pour - Canceled!
Despite the evil 'system' crushing our dreams and denying us the actual pouring of hot molten metal and fire dancing, we still got to tremble in our shoes as HUMANWINE made gypsy love to our ears and Vadalna Tribal Belly Dancers delighted our eyes.

Jane Gillooly screening 'Today the Hawk Takes One Chick'
It is important to witness the tragedies of the world that we are blessed to live without. Jane spoke and screened her film about community grandmothers in Swaziland, Africa, where AIDS has the highest prevalence in the world.

Chuck E Skeez
Overload your circuits with information until your brain explodes cheesy rainbow madness! A night of twisted childhood nostalgia. Mighty Tiny entertained us MIGHTILY in masks and raucus music, Zayde Buti creeped us out and made us really happy.

Little Black Topsy and the Magical White Fairy Soap
A girl takes on an adventure to find herself - a young black woman openly discussing race and gender through her performance, both vulnerable and confrontational, truly unique and beautiful. A smashing success, not a dry eye in the audience.

Thanks for enjoying the semester with us eager beavers - we learned a lot and had a lot of fun! Please read below to hear about our next event - the PROGRESS FESTIVAL in Spring 2011.

LOVE LOVE LOVE FOREVER
